Today was a nice cool fall day. Daddy had to go to school so Mommy & I went to the big Garage Sale on base today. Afterwards we picked up Daddy & went to the Octoberfest in our little town of Atchison. Tomorrow is the Weston Applefest.
Aww, when I was a kid, we'd go on school field trips every year to Vaughn's apple orchard in Weston, where we'd get to pick apples and sample cider and apple butter, and go on hayrides. It was so much fun! Probably my favorite field trips of all time. I miss that!!
