Grandma & Grandpa's visit

We had a fun filled few days with Grandma & Grandpa from TN. They got to go to Skylar's Little Gym class, to some baby thrift stores, watched a UFC fight, went to the gun range, Grandpa went in the hot tub, ate some good food & oh yea...our 1st family helo ride! My frined Kat wrote a message on Facebook about a charity event. Her husband Frank & some other helo pilots donated their time on a Saturday to raise money for the family of a police officer killed in the line of duty. It was a great cause & who doesn't want to go in a helo! We went in a 6 passenger helo at 1st..even Skylar! Everyone had a blast. After that Frank gave Chris, Dad, & Mom a ride in his 4 seater. Dad is in the front & as you can see he is very happy. They also brought us 4 dozen eggs from their chickens which Skylar enjoys each morning. Skylar is growing up fast. She has added the word "cookie" to her vocabulary.

family visit

This week was a busy one. Uncle Roy & Aunt Claudia visited for 2 days from TN & the day they left Grandma & Grandpa visited. I went to the beach w/ Unc & AC but Mommy forgot her camera. Good thing Aunt Claudia remembered hers, so we will see the pics soon. Uncle Roy bought me a Mickey balloon & I LOVE it! I've been giving hugs to Grandpa & cuddling w/ my Grandma. I'm having so much fun but I don't always want my picture taken.

I tried 3 times today to lay Skylar down for a nap & she would not sleep! I decided to give her a bottle of milk & a couple of her gluten free rice cookies & this is what happened. I managed to trim her toenails while she was sleeping but not the fingernails...she saw me coming. After her short nap we went for a ride by the beach, out to lunch at Max & Ermas & planted some mint in my garden. I love this great weather! No rain & it's in the 70's.

St Patrick's Day Party

Last night our friends Keith & Chandy had a super fun party. The food was incredible... as always & the weather was nice so we spent a lot of time outside. Skylar liked playing with the other kids until they tried to hold her hand as you can tell by the look on her face.

The Little Gym

Today was Skylar's 1st day at The Little Gym. She loved it. She played with other kids, with balls, a parachute, balance beam, sang songs & chased bubbles. She fell asleep as soon as we got in the car. This is a 45 minute class every Friday.
