Tumbling class

Skylar has been taking a tumbling class for a couple of months now & LOVES it. She is learning so much. The teacher sings a song when it's time to put things away & last week Skylar starting putting things away without my help. This week she put her things away & then started to put away the smaller children's items. She is getting a little taller & today was the 1st time she reached the rings all by herself! At the end of class the teacher blows bubbles & sings a song & then you leave the classroom & get a hand stamp. Skylar got up, walked out without me, went to the shoe rack & got her own shoes & brought them to me. I can't believe how big she is getting. Tonight her school is having a luau & it should be a lot of fun.

16 month update

I can't believe Skylar will be 16 months old in 2 days! She is such a happy little girl. She blows kisses, waves, & says "Hi". Today she actually waved & said "Hi" to another kid in the store. When we do something that makes her upset she waves her finger at us & says "no no no"

my chair

Yesterday we found this Elmo chair at a garage sale. The cover unzips so we washed it & gave it to Skylar this morning. She LOVES it! When she sits down the chair shakes & Elmo giggles.

Silvia's 2nd Birthday party

Skylar had so much fun. They had a bounce house, a jeep to ride in, bubbles, cake, a pinata & more! All of the kids got to take home their own pink chair...so cute!Happy Birthday Silvia & thanks for letting us spend your special day with you.

misc April pics

It's been a good month filled with great weather. We could do without this nasty pollen...poor Skylar has had a runny nose & red eyes for a week now. We got new patio furniture & we sit outside for meals a lot now. I took Skylar to the zoo today & we had a great time. This month she has started blowing kisses, repeating sounds we make & tried 2 new foods...dog food & soap!

Uncle Billy's Harley

Easter

We had a great Easter. Skylar's Uncle Billy visited from NJ & let me sit on his Harley! We had Easter brunch at the Pino's house. It was sooooooooo good  & Skylar went on her 1st Easter egg hunt. We had dinner at the Arana's house. Everything was yummy & Skylar got to go on another egg hunt.

Spring cookout

Nutz & Crackers had us over for a cookout today. Skylar had so much fun playing w/ all the little girls.

Happy Easter

Last year we were in Kansas for Easter & Skylar was little so we didn't make an hour & a half drive to the mall to see the Easter Bunny.This year we went to the mall w/ Nutz & Crazy Crumbs. The girls played in the kids area. Every time another kid would touch Skylar, CC would say "no no that's my Skylar!" soooooooooooo cute! Skylar liked the Easter Bunny. As soon as she saw him she honked his nose.
