her 1st scooter

A few weeks ago after Larry got off of work on a Friday night, he stopped at Toys R Us and bought Skylar a scooter. She was really excited. She had been asking for one for awhile. This one is deluxe. It has a horn, turn signals, & plays music. It also has 2 wheels in front to help w/balance. She always says "Don't forget to put my helmet on for safety"

Fly over

Lately Skylar has been mad at Daddy since he always has to go to work. Last month he flew the helo over the house & waved at us. She was so excited!

Valentine's Day

While Larry was at work Skylar asked if she could use her window crayons to make him a Valentine on the glass doors. After she was done she asked for my help. She wanted me to draw some of Larry's favorite things: a heart, beer & Darth Vader!

Our Luray Virginia Vacation

A couple weeks ago Larry had a huge inspection at work that he was in charge of. He put in some long hours so he surprised us by taking a week off! He found friends to watch Taz & Dory. We took our very 1st family vacation, just the 3 of us. Larry got a fantastic deal on a cabin in Luray Virginia. We went hiking, made a camp fire, played outside for hours, & went to Luray Caverns. It even snowed! Skylar loved our "adventure at the cabin" and asked her Daddy if we could go back again. She also slept so good there. She slept in her own room in a big bed, so she's been asking for a big girl bed ever since we got home. Maybe we will get her one this weekend.
