The Kansas City Zoo

Since today was a rare November day with the temps in the 70's we decided to go to the KC Zoo. Skylar was very good. She spent more time looking at the other kids than the animals we paid to see!

Atchison Halloween Parade

Larry had school today so I took Skylar to a parade downtown. It was a lot of fun. It was almost an hour long with music, dancing, animals & more. I was most impressed with the Elementary School band playing Eye of the Tiger! The weather was perfect too! Here are a few pics of her watching the parade & of Skylar next to the Amelia Earhart statue.

10 month update

I can't beleive Skylar turned 10 months old on Wednesday. She is growing up fast. She pulls herself up on the furniture & actually uses her jumperoo as a walker. She can even sit back down from a standing position. She started waving the other day. She says a few words every now & then like Momma, Taz, & no no no! Her favorite word is Dadda & she says it all day long. When Larry picks her up she smiles & clings to him if he tries to put her down...it melts him & by the way she does not do this with me :(

A day at the mall

We forgot our camera today!!! :( We went to the mall in St Joseph MO. Mommy got a haircut with highlites & I hung out with my Daddy.I just love babble in the mall & get lots of attention. For the 1st time Daddy took me to the kids play area....& I loved it!! There were no hardwood floors for me to hurt my head on & no electrical outlets for me to try to get to. I was having fun crawling around & laughing & even got a kiss from a little girl named Riley. She was 1 1/2 but I had a ton more hair!
