Skylar's Dr appts.

Yesterday & today Skylar had Dr. appts. Yesterday was her 1 week check up w/ the pediatrician. Her name is Dr. Mikels & we like her a lot. Skylar will go back next Wednesday for a 2 week checkup. She is almost back to her birth weight & is doing well. Today we saw the orthapedic Dr. about her foot. No big deal...her foot was turned sideways & they said this happens sometimes & it will correct itself. It is not a club foot. She does not need to wear a cast or a brace. We spent about 3 hours at the hospital today trying to get her signed up w/ Tricare Insurance. Since we are signing her up for the 1st time & we are moving it is a very confusing process. Tomorrow we have one more office to visit & she will be set up in the system. After we move we will call & transfer all of us to Tricare West (instead of Tricare East) Larry is moving on Saturday & I am very sad. We will miss him a bunch. The school is working with him & will try to let him take a long weekend very soon to come back & get us.

1 week old

Today Skylar is 1 week old! I can't beleive it. Tomorrow she will get her 1st checkup at 3pm. Today we had our 1st outing. We visited Zach, Jacque & Regan. It was nice to get out of the house & she did very well.

Well it's day 5 with Skylar. Here she is with Granny. This is one of the few times she's been downstairs since she is a very fussy baby. She loves to be up in our room eating or taking naps. She's fussy but we still love her!

Happy New Year

Here are some pictures from the last 2 days. We are still trying to get into a routine. We are not quite there yet, but we are working on it. I am so lucky that the Navy gives 10 days Paternity leave. It has been great having Larry home. We are also lucky to have Larry's Mom & Granny & Uncle Bill to help. Enjoy the pics!
